Building guidance

Review before you build

Generated designs and automated checks are design aids. They do not certify safety, stability or assembly access.

What checks mean

Supported connection and geometry checks identify certain model defects. They do not measure clutch strength, resistance to tipping, stresses, durability or whether a hand can reach every instruction step. Parts and colors may be unavailable from sellers.

Real builds

Inspect the parts list and every instruction step. Build on a stable surface, support fragile sections and keep small parts away from young children. Follow the component manufacturer’s age and safety guidance. Designs are decorative models; do not use them as load-bearing structures, protective equipment or safety-critical devices.

Verification

A render or automated success message is not a physical test. A claim that a design was test-built should identify the exact model version, parts, tester and date. Editing a tested model can invalidate that result.

Report a problem

Report an instruction error or unsafe design, including the project/version reference. Do not force a placement that appears impossible.
